In applying for SpinTel’s Wireless Broadband service from us you agree to the following:
These terms and conditions are specific for the modems supplied for Wireless Broadband.
*Average peak 5G download speed is calculated over the previous 3-month period and is the average speed experienced by a representative group of customers between 7pm and 11pm (the busy time for consumer Internet traffic). Past performance is not an indication of expected future speed. The actual speed you will experience depends on a number of factors, including congestion, placement of the 5G modem in your house, distance from the 5G tower, local conditions, hardware, software, the data source or destination and general internet traffic.
The 5G modem is easy to set-up and connects wirelessly to the 5G mobile network with seamless 4G/LTE backup.
Positioning the 5G modem inside your home as close to the nearest 5G tower as possible is vital for optimal performance. Please be aware that the best position for your 5G modem may not be the same location as your current modem.
Using the "Aus Phone Towers" APP and visual cues from the modem’s LED lights will help you find the best direction and placement in your home.

The modem is a part of the plan so you won’t pay the upfront cost of the modem, but you’ll need to return it when you cancel your service. You'll find out more about this under "Hardware Terms".
